Our Story
Jan 2001
Our founder Naser alShammari came up with the idea of Aafaq.
2008
Company incorporation of Aafaq Publishing and Distribution company.
2009
First branch of Aafaq opened up in the state of Kuwait.
2011
A big leap forward by starting a partnership with Oxford University Press
2019
Aafaq opened its largest branch in Kuwait in Avenues Mall. In the same year Aafaq opened in Qatar.
2020
At the end of 2020, Aafaq partnered with The English Bookshop Kuwait which recently became the fastest growing online bookstore in Kuwait.
